Our Boarding

A home from home boarding service, your dog will live in our homes with us and our resident dogs, where we try to replicate your daily routine where possible. All boarding is subject to a chargeable trial night to assess if your dog is suitable for home boarding.

Your dog will be treated as if one of our own and receive all the love and treats our own dogs would. This means sometimes your pooch will come with us to places we take our own... Including visiting our dog mad friends & family!

Pick Ups / Drop Offs

We operate our boarding fees on 24 hour periods,  we accept drop offs between 8-8.30 AM prior to starting collections for our first pack walk. For pick ups our scheduled time is 5-6.30 PM. We may be able to be flexible with these timings however this would need to be agreed prior to us confirming the booking.

Any changes/amendments to your dogs pick up / drop off time is subject to further charges at our discretion.

During Their Stay

Within our homes, your dogs will receive personalised care, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. We engage our boarding dogs in at least 1 walk per day unless unsuitable in which we have a variety of other methods to stimulate and enrich your dogs stay. We give regular updates including photos to give you peace of mind.

Both Becky and Sam have received 5* licenses from Maldon District Council and are canine first aid trained and can give assurance that your pup is in the best hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we come look around?

Unfortunately not! We have found throughout our experience that dogs react much better to being left, if their owner doesn't come in. This allows them to be introduced into the environment where their owner is not present, to imitate their stay. We have seen a reduction in anxiety doing it this way.

We do require a chargeable trial nights prior to any dogs stay to ensure they are comfortable and happy to stay with us.

We are both licensed by Maldon District Council, who have completed a full assessment of our homes, if you like, you are able to obtain a copy of this using our license numbers below.

Where will my dog sleep

We try to mimic your home life as much as we can, let us know where they sleep at home whether that be on the sofa, upstairs or in a crate.

Do you provide food for my dog during their stay?

We do not. We like to keep things as simple as possible for your dogs so we do request a feeding schedule on the pre-completed boarding form, and their regular food to be provided with them at drop offs, this way we can keep their favourite activity the same!

We will give your dogs good quality treats (no rawhide here!) so please make us aware if your dog has any sensitivities/allergies on the boarding form.

Will my dog be the only one in the home?

No, we both have our own 2 dogs which you can see in our 'about us' section. We are also licensed to have an additional 4 more dogs on top of our own so it is very rare your dog will be with just the resident dogs.

Will my dog stay with Becky or Sam ?

Either! We try to both look after your dog at some stage to ensure we both have a good relationship with them. When you book with us, you go into our booking system and one month prior you will be told who's house your dog will be going too. We live very close to each other and spend every day together so your dog will always see both of us.

We decide this based on what's most suitable for your dog, dependant on other bookings and personal plans during their stay.
